Hello!

Welcome to the official first post and blog for Little Rays of Sunshine Corner! I am so excited to finally be getting the opportunity to start this page, I have thought about it for so long, and finally decided it was time to make it happen!

My goal for this little corner of the internet is to provide encouragement, ideas, and a community for anyone who is interested in turning their home (or even a new facility) into a caring and educational space for the little ones in your community.

I have been in childcare for over 20 years, starting out babysitting frequently in high school, working at a YMCA childcare facility, and eventually to opening my own small space in my home to care for a few Little Rays of Sunshine!

Everyday I scroll the Facebook mom page, or Neighborhood app and see request after request of parents looking for reliable, caring sitters. I know there are so many out there interested in starting their own journey, but have no where to begin! So over the next few weeks, I want to take you down that journey first of how to open your own successful childcare in your home, and making this one of the best decisions, and most rewarding decisions ever!
