Summer of fun in the water!

Summer is a great opportunity to enjoy a lot of fun outdoor play time you would never consider doing inside!

I enjoy water time the most, and it’s something can keep the kids entertained with for a significant amount of time. And like everything else in this corner, I have several ways to help keep the cost down, and the fun up!

My first suggestion is always to shop the seasonal section at your local Dollar Tree, Target Dollar Spot, and Amazon!

First, search for what you want to hold your water. I use a Target Sun Squad Wading Kiddie Pool (https://www.target.com/p/wading-kiddie-pool-blue-sun-squad-8482/-/A-77334694#lnk=sametab). It’s small enough for easy storage (just lean it against the house when youre done!)m but big enough for your toddlers to play in and enjoy cooling off! I also picked up some small water toys from the Dollar Tree, and they easily stay entertained while I work on getting their next activity set up!

PLUS! My kids enjoy putting their plastic chair (also purchased from Target) in to enjoy lounging and kicking their feet!

Second I enjoy doing activities with them that focus around sensory. You can either use a small packing container tote, a large dish tub, or even the pool!

Amazon, and the Target Dollar Spot have great (budge friendly) toys! And, finally, every child’s favorite, the sprinkler! You dont have to get anything fancy, although places like 5 and Below, and Amazon do have some fun Sprinkler Buddies at a good price, even just a regular garden sprinkler will keep your kids happy and entertained for some time!
